lead pastor

sean boone

Boone is married to the love of his life, Taquella, and they have a blended family of five kids, four grandkids, and a few dogs.

Boone was born and raised in Peoria, Illinois. Growing up being exposed to addiction, abandonment, and abuse, Boone experienced first hand, as both a victim and a perpetrator, the deadly effects of living in an underserved African American community. After years of gang banging and drug dealing, Boone eventually was rescued by God’s grace.

Surrendering his life to Jesus, Boone ultimately landed in his family’s church, where he was mentored and trained for a life of ministry. Boone eventually became the Youth Pastor and served in that role for four years.

Boone, Taquella and their young family later moved to St. Louis to accept a call to be a Lead Pastor. Three years later, Boone was called into church planting. It is through church planting that Boone really felt God calling him and preparing him to reach other-than church people. Being exposed to so much brokenness early in life and having experienced the transformational power of the gospel prepared him well for all that church planting would entail.

Boone’s desire is to see God’s healing, justice, and equality made available to all, regardless of ethnicity or socio-economic background. Boone looks forward to seeing how God is going to empower The Bridge to foster unity, healing, and redemption.

Boone enjoys sports, debating, and hanging out with other-than church people. Boone’s hobby is training, competing, and breeding dogs. As a competitor, his goal is to eventually compete at a world championship!

assistant pastor

Nathan Arnold

Nathan was born and raised in St. Louis and after spending time studying and working in Nashville, he is happy to be back in St. Louis with his wife, Anna Kate, son Lewis and their two dogs Luna and Josie. While growing up in St. Louis, God began to develop in Nathan a desire to see healing and justice in the midst of rampant inequity and division. He is excited to have a front-row seat at The Bridge to see how God will bring unity, healing, and redemption. Nathan loves sports of all kinds, reading good books, spending time outside, and getting to know anyone that is willing to talk to him!

worship director

TIMOTHY “TC” CHANDLER

Born and raised in East Saint Louis, IL in the not too distant past, TC has been musically inclined since the age of 2. “My man pots and pans biscuits and gravy” is a nonsensical phrase he consistently utters to no avail; a vague expression probably derived from the fact that he used “pots and pans” as percussive instruments during his early morning jam sessions as a child. These skills manifested in his development as a drummer with his grade school and junior high school concert, marching, and jazz bands. At the age of 15, however, the necessity for a pianist with his Mother’s choir at his Father’s church inadvertently created a fork in the road of his musical journey, thereby diverting his full and unadulterated attention to the piano, keyboards, and organ. Consequently, he has been a frustrated percussionist ever since!

Under the assumed identity of a Pianist/Keyboardist, TC has been a part of various musical ensembles ranging from classical, jazz, and R&B to blues, rock, and SKA. Upon completing his Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Master’s of Business Administration in Finance at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, he was employed by the McGill Airflow Corporation as a mechanical engineer by day (at which time he lived in Peoria Heights, IL), and moonlighted as a musician primarily on the weekends. However, TC’s passion for the piano led him to eventually leave Corporate America in the wind to pursue a full-time career as a musician in Las Vegas. Subsequently, his musical credits included playing behind national recording artist Trenyce of American Idol fame, R&B great Tony Terry, a one year tour with The Village People featuring original lead singer Victor Willis, a two year stint with Richard Street’s Temptations, Cherelle, Alexander O’Neal, The Calloway Brothers of Midnight Star, and the Hitzville Show of Las Vegas. After his stint on the Las Vegas music scene, he spent 2 years sailing the seven seas as a cruise ship musician, at which time he met his wife, Christine.

TC met, proposed, and married Christine Aumiller Chandler, on New Years’ Eves 2011, 2016, and 2017, respectively! During the course of their relationship, they have welcomed to their family two chihuahuas named Robyn and Luna (fur babies), and two beautiful daughters, Aurora (4) and Zarya (1 1/2).

Currently residing in the St. Louis metropolitan area, TC has recently completed his second Bachelor’s (and third college degree overall) from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville in Music concentrating on Jazz Performance for Piano, a University for which he is currently an adjunct instructor and lecturer. In addition to the numerous aforementioned credits and responsibilities, beginning June 2014 to February 2018, TC served as first chair Pianist/Keyboardist for 6-time Grammy Award winning and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Dennis Edwards and his Temptations Revue, and continues to carry on Dennis’ legacy, posthumously.

TC, Christy, Aurora, Zarya, Robyn, and Luna are excited to be a part of the The Bridge’s Music Ministry!

youth director

Lasha "sha" Moore

Lasha Moore, known as Sha to her friends and family, was born and raised in Dellwood, here in North County. She grew up active in her grandpa’s church and has been following Jesus for as long as she can remember. She has an amazing husband Derrell and 4 beautiful children (Marquise, Mariyah, Madison, Marion).

She graduated from UMSL in 2012 with a bachelor’s in criminal justice and quickly started working with youth in the community. She has always been dedicated to helping young people overcome their challenges and reach their goals. She is passionate about providing safe and supportive environments where kids can express themselves and feel accepted. She brings compassion and dedication to all that she does, and her background in Criminal justice helps her to understand the various risk factors people experience.

Ultimately though, her passion stems from working in the community, being a mother of four, and continuing to learn the power of support. She has dedicated the last 10 years to working with children (substance abuse counselor, teacher assistant, and a case manager), and she is excited to continue her journey doing this at The Bridge.
