Reading the Bible

Here at The Bridge, we believe the Bible is an invaluable gift to better knowing and seeing God and growing in what it looks like to follow him. However, we know that it can sometimes be intimidating to approach the Bible or understand what it is that we are reading.

There are plenty of tools out there to help you on this journey, and Boone and Nathan would love to meet with you if you are interested.

A resource that we recommend that is accessible, helpful, and engaging is called the Bible Project. Below you will find a link to their app that combines reading, videos, and instructional videos to help you know how to better approach and engage with scripture!

We recommend downloading this and beginning with some of their “How to” videos and then diving in to better seeing and knowing God through his word!
“The Bible isn’t a book of rules, or a book of heroes.
The Bible is most of all a story. It’s an adventure story about a young Hero who comes from a far country to win back his lost treasure.
It’s a love story about a brave Prince who leaves his palace, his throne –everything– to rescue the one he loves.
You see, the best thing about this Story is — it’s true!
There are lots of stories in the Bible, but all the stories are telling one Big Story. The Story of how God loves his children and comes to rescue them.”
