Sean Boone
Lead Pastor
Boone is married to the love of his life, Taquella, and together they have a blended family of five children, four grandchildren, and a few beloved dogs.
Born and raised in Peoria, Illinois, Boone grew up surrounded by addiction, abandonment, and abuse. He experienced firsthand—both as a victim and later as a perpetrator—the devastating impact of life in an underserved African American community. After years of gang involvement and drug dealing, Boone was rescued by God’s grace. When he surrendered his life to Jesus, he found his way to his family’s church, where he was mentored and trained for a life of ministry.
Boone’s passion is to see God’s healing, justice, and equality made available to all people, regardless of ethnicity or socio-economic background. He looks forward with great hope to witness how God will continue to use The Bridge to bring unity, healing, and redemption.
